Property portals are built for browsing homes for sale. Estate agent valuation tools are built to get you on the phone. Houseprice.io sits in between: a quick, free estimate with the nearby sales behind it, and no sign-up wall in front of the number.
What we believe
- Show the evidence. A number without comparable sales is just an opinion. We put them side by side.
- Be honest about uncertainty. Every estimate comes with a range, and we say plainly what an online estimate can't see.
- Your contact details are yours. We never ask for an email to show an estimate. If you want an agent to call, you tick a box saying so, and only then do we pass your details on.
How we make money
The site is free to use. We show adverts, and when you ask for an in-person valuation we may be paid by the estate agent we introduce you to. That never changes the estimate you see.
